Weight Watching for Work at Home Moms

I really didn’t want to step on the scale today… Even though I know it would have been a mile stone moment for me, just to have lost one pound!

I partied this weekend & didn’t track my calories at all!

Amazingly, I didn’t gain anything, but I didn’t lose anything either. So here I remain at my 180 pounds! Grrr!!!

So, I haven’t had a lot of time to write these days! I haven’t had much time for anything! Getting my workouts in has been tough… But I still lost two more pounds, for a new weight of 180 pounds!

I have been busy preparing for a healthy Independence day celebration. So I guess scrubbing the floor really does count as a workout!

Losing one more pound will be a real mile stone for me! My weight constantly fluctuates, but I have not been able to break the 180 pound mark in about three years… Needless to say I am looking forward to even a one pound weight loss next week, just so I can say that the 180 pound mark didn’t defeat me!

Right now, I feel like if I can just get over this hurdle, I can accomplish my goal!!!

So, I lost a pound!

I weigh 182 pounds!!!

I am actually really excited & motivated about that one pound because, it means I didn’t gain anything & what I did this week is working for me!

I have the same problem every time I try to lose weight!

I get a good start… always! Then, I lose energy! Its like I burn out! I just started a new weight loss challenge & I really want to succeed this time.

So, does anyone else get this burn out? Its like, I wake up tired! If anyone else goes through this, let me know what you do to stop or prevent it before it happens again to me!

Other then that, I plan on writing about fad diets individually & why they don’t work!

My family members all swear by the Atkins, South Beach or no carb diets. I think they are nuts!

Tell you why tomorrow…

So here it is, Day #1 of the PlusSize Bloggers’ 12 week challenge!

My Current Weight is….. 183lbs! At 5’1″, I am Obese with a BMI of 34.6 according to the calculator found at http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

My current standing is this, I am 25, almost 26, with 53lbs to lose! My mission in being a part of this challenge isn’t to win all of the cool stuff that goes along with it, even though that would be great, but to live a healthier life! This challenge is going to give me a jump start to repairing my health! After succeeding at this, I will continue on for the rest of the year… & just maybe I will keep my new year’s resolution this year (then I will have to think up another one for a change).

How is this time going to be different? I really think what I was lacking was accountability. This challenge has that for me! I have to be accountable, I have to post my weight every week… & how embarrassing would it be to report a gain, right? I also have some other stuff, like my health insurance (United Healthcare) is offering me some sweet incentives to keep track of my weight & exercise. I also found this free website that helps me track calories consumed, calories burned, gives me meal plans, etc. So, I think I got the right tools this time!

Anyone want to know more about the free website I found, send me a message with your e-mail address & I will e-mail you the link!

I am a Work-at-Home Mom! Since working from home, starting in 2007, I have been slowly packing on the pounds. I don’t blame the fact that I work at home… I blame the kitchen for being so close by!

Today, I am going to start getting my weight under control! I weighed myself yesterday, only to discover that I weigh 180 lbs. Now that may not seem like a lot, but for someone who is only five feet tall, it puts me in the obese category with a BMI of  33.88!

I am going to change my life… Starting today!
